Erik’s career with Chick-fil-A began in 2004 when he applied to be a team member at his local Chick-fil-A on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in South Florida. What started as an opportunity to earn enough money to buy a car eventually led him to a lifelong career with Chick-fil-A.
After working his way up into a management position in the restaurant, Erik accepted the corporate role of Grand Opening Supervisor in 2012. He worked in this role for three years, traveling the country and overseeing the grand opening of more than thirty Chick-fil-A restaurants. These openings included the first-ever Chick-fil-A in Nebraska, a downtown Chicago location, and the Chick-fil-A inside the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.
In 2015, Erik followed his Brooklyn, New York roots back to the Northeast. He became the Owner/Operator of his first Chick-fil-A franchise restaurant at the Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City, New Jersey. After four years of service there, he moved back to South Florida to open his first free-standing franchise location, Chick-fil-A Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach, Florida, in January 2020.
Erik is proud to run a family business with his wife, Shelley. Shelley has been a part of Chick-fil-A since 2010. Erik’s passion for restaurant operations and providing a fresh opportunity for young leaders is the driving force behind their organization.
